Shamanic Retreat in the Bavarian Alps with Artie Looking Hawk and Robert Dakota
Artie Looking Hawk Artie has followed the Native American path for many years. He has been a Sun Dancer for four years and has completed seven Earth Dances. Artie is a pipe carrier and ceremonial leader and conducts sweat lodge at a Kieva style lodge at his home in Sedona, Arizona.
Early on in 1970, Artie discovered the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda and the Self Realization Fellowship. He worked as a second service leader at the center and with the boys summer youth program at the Center for over 20 years. Artie is also a Karuna Reiki Master and a Reiki Teacher as well.

Robert Dakota Robert holds a BA in Biblical Literature and an MA in Theology as well as being an experienced world traveler. His interest and commitment to matters of Spirit began at an early age and after living in an L.A. ghetto until the age of 16, he began a serious spiritual practice and discipline which later brought him to the Azusa Pacific University in Southern California.
Theology School posed more questions than it answered and the final closure of this part of his life came at age 26 when he faced the choice of continuing his education with a Ph.D or to see the world.
The path was drawn when one day in class he heard one of his professors state "why Christianity was the right religion and all others were wrong". Despite years of training and discipline to the Christian faith, Robert knew instinctively where his path would take him. He chose the path that would lead him to investigate different spiritual belief systems and to ultimately know that all paths lead to the same place - the Active Principles of Love.
